Students who study Classical languages go into a wide range of careers, and their studies often give them an advantage over other students. See statistics and personal testimony of what your student can do with a Classical education.

Latin and Greek has had a strong linguistic influence on many modern languages, including English. Studying these languages improves their vocabulary, fluency and accuracy in writing skills, and understanding of sentence structure and how the parts of speech work together to express meaning. In addition, the way Latin and Greek are taught is shown to benefit students with various learning difficulties.

Our society owes much to Classical antiquity in not only linguistics but fields such as architecture, politics, arts and entertainment, religion, literature, history, science, and philosophy. The study of Latin and Greek is interdisciplinary, and offers students an awareness and appreciation of where many modern concepts have their origins.
